With Rebekah’s guidance, and after being concerned with my image as a Lindy Hop dancer, I focused on improving my posture. At first I would just catch myself slacking, and correct myself. I’d ask others to mention it as well if I started to have bad posture.
I think the first major thing I noticed change was actually my mental and emotional state. I began to become more confident and relaxed, which slowly with time became more permanent as I shifted into good posture being the default. Now I hold good posture 90% of the time, and my back problems have started to lessen.
Overall I have noticed improvement in my physical, mental, and emotional health.
